epl's best ever foreign player

the newpaper ran an article a few days back on dennis bergkamp commenting that he was the best ever foreign player to have played in the epl.. and invited the readers to write back, which they duly published today.. i hope these were jus random letters the editor drew out 'lucky draw' style, bcuz if these were the best entries, singapore's in trouble.. here are some examples..

Mr jeffrey low gives his vote to thierry henry:
'he has consistently produced the goods both at home and abroad'
tat muz explain why france were eliminated in the grp stages of wc2002.

'throughout the world, henry's menacing figure can be spotted in most advertisements promoting the premiership'
if tats the way to do it, beckham muz be the best ever foreign player in spain. by a mile.

DArren agrees with the newpaper:
'back then, it was as if the world stood with bated breath whenever he had the ball at his feet. he could do the impossible'
yes. u make him sound like god. pls provide 5 'impossible' moments in the 97/98 season.

alfian feels a need to tell us his life story:
'hi i was browsing through a copy of the new paper on 31 may 2005....'
'i am a foreigner, an indonesian, i came to singapore when i was 11..'
'i started suppporting arsenal when i was about 13 or 14. that's about 8 yrs ago...'
'i stayed in hostel with about 40 other students...'

guess wat? nobody cares...

lim wee ping believes zola shd be the man:
'jose mourinho even persuaded zola to stay'
i hope im wrong but, didnt zola leave much before mourinho came?

'before his low profile move to the epl, he was best remembered by many as the main culprit for italy's ealy exit in euro96'
so tats supposed to convince us over into thinking his the best?

mr tan jinwen supports bergkamp cause:
'he has won almost everything in england'
gosh, andy cole must be the best ever domestic player to grace the english game.

and ive kept the best for the last.. finally, introducing MR CHESTER LOW who believes makelele was the best ever. i hoped he would provide an interesting view on tis and he did:
'the most praise that makelele ever received in his epl career was the game against charlton. british newspapers heaped praise on him and even our local sprots writers were generous. this alone is sufficient to make makelele the best foreign player to play in the EPL'
u must haf brains the side of grapes. im not even gonna comment on tis. i risk making myself stupid..

thanks to the newpaper for such an interesting read..
and there u haf it, our experts on the english game making their.. well... outstanding views known to the rest of our sunny island on thw newpaper~ hope they enlightened u the same way they enlightened me~
cheers~
