is in such a mess on so many levels that I don't even know where to begin.

Blind

I was young but I wasn't naive
I watched helpless as you turned around to leave
And still I have the pain I have to carry
A past so deep that even you could not bury if you tried

After all this time
I never thought we'd be here
Never thought we'd be here
When my love for you was blind
But I couldn't make you see it
Couldn't make you see it
That I loved you more than you will ever know
A part of me died when I let you go

I would fall asleep
Only in hopes of dreaming
That everything would be like it was before
But nights like this it seems are slowly fleeting
They disappear as reality is crashing to the floor

After all this time
Would you ever wanna leave it
Maybe you could not believe it

Of Lightning and Snow

When was the last time you had the urge to be home as soon as you could? At the risk of sounding like a total geek, I've found mine.

Brilliant story-telling, interesting characters, engaging play and amazing graphics.

Even the bloody equipment tab's uber gorgeous.

Oh, and her of course. I feel like a schoolboy all over again.

Fug all the complains about the game's linearity. Final Fantasy XIII is simply awesome.

You have to see it to believe it.

Totally biased point of view, I know. But this is not supposed to be a review anyway. More like me saying, 'goodbye life'. :)

Happy Post

It's amazing what two hours of football can do for the mind.

Feeling uber good despite the fatigue. :)

Musings

We live in a world; where the soul is gratified by the material; where fidelity is overrated; where marriages are borne of pragmatism and sustained via habit; where love is analogous with lust.

The sooner we realize that, the sooner we stop that embarrassing excitment at the mundane and expected.

Quotable Quotes

A friend of mine was asking for a good quote today, which kinda got me thinking. The irony of a good quote's that it often gets so over-quoted or mis-used that it turns corny or becomes a cliche.

Take for instance, Maya Angelou when she says, 'Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away'. Simple, meaningful and quite beautiful actually, but if someone said that to me, I'll probably think his uber melodramatic.

Or how about Eleanor Roosevelt's "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why we call it 'The Present'." Ohhhhhhh, how VR Man (if you can actually remember that shite show) killed that one.

Army most defintely removed any liking I would have otherwise had for Friedrich Nietzsche's 'That which does not kill us makes us stronger".

But here are some wise words for you my friends, which considering my pathetic readership, should remain quite safe. May the force be with you (nope this isn't not one of them).

'Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.' - John Lennon.

Therefore.

'We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars.' - Oscar Wilde

Thus,

'Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.' - Dr. Seuss.

Okay that didn't come off as brilliantly as I thought it would. I think I need a beeeeeeeeeerrrrrr.
