Drops of Jupiter

Oh goodness, have had this for eons but never quite realized just how beautiful it was until today.

Tell me
Did the wind sweep you off your feet?
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back to the Milky way

Tell me
Did Venus blow your mind?
Was it everything you wanted to find
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there.

Foong; Or Something Like That

Circumstance dictate that I contrive a mediated response.

Yet unable still, to suppress these thoughts. I crave the fulfillment of a distant past, I obsess over what might have been, I desire that which will never be mine.

And this conflict's driving me insane.

Forgive me for I don't know what I gain,
Alone in this garden of pain,
Enchantment has but one truth;
I weep to have what I fear to lose.

Smell

Did you read the Newpaper today? About the guy who apparently spontaneously ejaculates? While that's either the world's lamest excuse or the saddest condition known to man, it's how he was found out that's the interesting part.

I quote, "That was when her (the victim) friend noticed wet spots on Chong's jacket. He took it, smelled it, and realized it was semen. Her friend then told Chong, 'this is yours, right? We are all men, you should know what this is."

How the fuck do you recognise semen through smell? It's scary to think where the knowledge and confidence in his accusation came from.

I never even fucking knew semen had a smell.

'Too Bad'

Two students were killed in a train accident yesterday. Dreadful, a total waste of two young lives, but what intrigued me was the spokesman's choice of words.

'We have emergency brakes, but the train will still move 400 to 500 metres before it stops. If the train stops suddenly, the impact can cause it to derail.'

'So if you're within the braking distance, then it's too bad.'

Too bad? Like what-the-hell. Surely there are better ways of putting it. And while I'm not an engineer, 400 to 500 metres' a ridiculously long distance ain't it. Kinda defeats the purpose of 'emergency braking', cause everybody who initiates one's gonna fall into the 'too bad' category anyway.

Then again, I'm probably being random again.
